OBITUARY

Linda Jean Fudge, age 65, of St. Charles, formerly of Bartlett, passed away Monday, January 16, 2012 at the Pepper Family Hospice Home of Barrington.

She was born November 24, 1946 in Cleveland, Ohio to Joseph and Virginia Melichar. She graduated from Lutheran High School in Cleveland, Ohio and Kent State University. On November 8, 1969, she was united in marriage to her husband, Kim Fudge at St. John Lutheran Church in South Euclid, Ohio.
She was a loving wife and mother who had a great zest for life. She always had a smile on her face and kind words for her many friends. She felt that her greatest accomplishment was raising her two daughters to be outstanding young women. Her daughters are her legacy. She was a devoted Lutheran and is at peace with her savior.

Linda is survived by her husband, Kim, her two daughters, Kelli (Daniel) Zetzl of Algonquin and Kerri Fudge of Winfield, her sister, Sharon (Gerald) Makowski of South Bend, Indiana, mother-in-law, Velma Fudge of Dayton, Ohio, her sister-in-law, Kristin (Peter) Castiglione of Phoenix, AZ and brother-in-law, Kelvin (Teri) Fudge of Springboro, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her father-in-law, Keith Fudge.

Funeral service will be held 1:00 P.M., Saturday, January 21st at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 310 East Main Street, East Dundee. Rev. Phillip Baerwolf officiating. Burial will be at Union Cemetery, St. Charles. Visitation will be Friday from 3-9:00 P.M. at Yurs Funeral Home, (corner of Rt. 64 and Rt. 25), 405 East Main Street, St. Charles.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Northeastern Illinois, Attn: Foundation, 405 Lake Zurich Road, Barrington, Illinois 60010.
