Additional charitable activities included service to the American Red Cross and membership in the Junior League of Chicago.

Among her happiest and most memorable times were those spent with family and friends at Dunham Woods Riding Club in Wayne.

Mrs. Jones is survived by two sons, Douglas B. (Mary) of St. Charles and Cave Creek, Arizona, Richard F. of Hong Kong, two daughters, Susan Jones of Indianapolis, Indiana and Emily (Andrew) McMillin of Barrie, Ontario, Canada, five grandchildren, Melisa (Anthony) Coletto, Brian Jones, Andrew, Robert and Katherine McMillin, two great-grandchildren, Max and Alex Coletto.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John W. (Bill) Jones in 1988 and a daughter, Laurie Jones in 1984.

Visitation will be held at St. Charles’ Episcopal Church, St. Charles, at 2:30 PM on Saturday May 22nd with a memorial service to follow at 3:30. Interment will be private.
