OBITUARY
Betty Burton, age 69, of St. Charles died Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at her home following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.She was born December 13, 1938 in St. Charles, Illinois to Edwin and Lillian Betts.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, David, two children, Anthony (Judy) Franck of Washington, Utah and Monica Smith of St. Charles, two grandchildren, Eric Franck and Morgan Smith, a sister, Bonnie Steele of St. Charles, two nephews, Michael (Samara) Lingafelter and Edwin Hawk, her mother-in-law, Anna Burton, a sister-in-law, Patricia (Joseph) Slowiak of Oregon, Illinois, brothers-in-law, James (Diana) Burton of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and William (Anne) Burton of Flower Mound, Texas and numerous other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her father-in-law, G.J. “Joe” Burton.
Services and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Animal Heartline Humane Association, P.O. Box 4401, Naperville, Illinois 60567.
