OBITUARY

Mary L. Geldes, age 50, of St. Charles died Friday, March 06, 2009 at Manor Care Nursing Home in Naperville.

She was born May 5, 1958 in Chicago, Illinois to Edward and Laura Gacek.

Mrs. Geldes worked for the St. Charles School District for many years, where she was mainly at Fox Ridge Elem School. She was active in all her children’s activities and Cub Scout Pack 154 and Boy Scout Troop 60.

She is survived by her husband of 27 years, George, three sons, Peter, Christopher and Nicholas, her mother of Northlake, her father of Libertyville, three brothers, Edward (Candy) Gacek of Sandwich, Kenneth Gacek of Quincy and David (Ardis) Gacek of Delafield, Wisconsin, a sister, Bonnie (John) Kudia of North Riverside and many nieces and nephews

Funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M., Monday, March 9th at Yurs Funeral Home, 405 East Main Street, (corner of Rt. 64 and Rt. 25), St. Charles. Visitation will be Sunday from 3-7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 143 South First Street, Batavia, Illinois 60510.
