Jean M. Harrison, age 86, of Geneva, died Saturday, April 15th at her home.
She was born July 29, 1930 in Chicago. The daughter of the late Alex and Anne Katsoolias.
Jean was a member of the Tri B. League Bowlers for over 40 years. Before her retirement she was employed at the Kane County Clerk office for over 20 years. She also was an avid Cubs fan.
She is survived by her four children, Sue (Don) Eads of St. Charles, Jim Harrison of Geneva, Theresa (the late Larry) Teafoe of Columbus, Georgia and Ted Harrison of Phoenix, AZ. Seven grandchildren, Sean (Tiffanie) Harrison of California, Jason (Jessica Moorman) Eads of North Carolina, Tony (Daisy Alvarado) Harrison of St. Charles, Dan Eads of Geneva, Jaime (Harrison) Jay of California, Sherry Harrison of California and Kellie Ventura of California. Four Great grandchildren, Van and Zig Harrison and Timmy and Tommy Jay. Also her extended family.
She was preceded in death by Her Brother, Sgt First Class Theodore Katsoolias who is MIA in Korea. Son in law Larry Teafoe and her special friend Elizabeth Colpen that she knew since she was three years old.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 7:00 PM Friday, April 21st from the Yurs Funeral Home 1771 W. State Street (Rte 38) Geneva. Funeral Services and Burial will be private.
