OBITUARY
Candice Lee (Teafoe) Hentschel, 32, passed away on February 1st 2013 at her home in Kingston surrounded by her most cherished boys and family. She was born on August 6th 1980 in Missoula, MT to Jerry Teafoe and Jackie Leman.Candi was a beautiful person and spirit with a genuine smile that touched all who were privileged to have known her. These characteristics are carried through to her boys along with her love of Jesus. She was the most amazing caring and loving mother anyone that could ask for. People fell in love with her after just one conversation. Candi was not a wife to stand behind her husband she was a wife who walked next to and supported him making him a better person, husband and example for his boys. But not only did she provide the support to make him a better person she provided the nurturing, mothering, caring, giving, deepest heartfelt love a mother could have for her boys. All of this was made possible through the worst of it because of her eternal love and faith in Jesus Christ.
She fought her battle with cancer with the most optimistic of outlooks, keeping her boys as her guiding light to confront her disease head on. We would like to think she is peacefully walking with the angels, but we know she is actually rocking out to some Rolling Stones smiling just as she always did. Looking down on us and patiently waiting for us at the gate with our tickets to get in.
She will be forever in our hearts and missed very very much.
Candi is survived by her spouse of 11 years William Hentschel; her sons William, Luke, Benjamin; her Grandfather Donald Tredup; her Grandfather Jerome (Margaret) Teafoe; her father Jerry (Marie) Teafoe; her mother Jackie (Keith) Leman, her brother Eric (Tami) Teafoe; her sister Brant Teafoe; her nephew Cody Teafoe; her niece Amanda Teafoe; her niece Genevieve Teafoe.
Candi was preceded in death by her Grandmother Patricia Tredup; her Grandmother Peggy Teafoe; her Uncle Larry Teafoe; her Uncle Brian Teafoe; her Cousin Jason Teafoe.
A celebration of life and visitation service will be held at Yurs Funeral Home of St. Charles, 405 E. Main Street St. Charles, IL 60174 from 4-8:00 P.M., February 6th 2013. Burial with funeral service will be held at Eastside Cemetery, Montello, WI at Noon on February 8th 2013.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to First Baptist Awana Club, 316 N. Sycamore St, Genoa, IL 60135. We were greatly sadden to hear the news of Candi. I only knew her for a short time before we moved but I considered her a friend and enjoyed our walks at the YMCA together while the boys were in preschool.
