OBITUARY


Robert “Bob” N. Heisey, III of St. Charles, died Tuesday, December 11, 2012, in the loving care of his family.

He was born to Robert and Esther Heisey II, on January 21, 1929, in Kansas City, MO.

Bob enlisted in the US Navy and was assigned to the USS Aucilla. Following his service in the navy, he worked for the CB&Q Railroad for a number of years. He served on the Oak Park Fire Department for over 30 years, where he earned the respect and admiration of those with whom he served, attaining the final rank of Captain, before his retirement.

He is survived by his wife Mary, his children Jeffrey Heisey, Mary Skelton, Lois Heisey, Kathryn Heisey, Howard (Tracy) Heisey, Janet (Anthony) LoPresti, eleven grandchildren, Timothy, Nicole, Jeremy, Eric, Jessica, Tyler, Sarah, Matthew, Samantha, Shannon, Anthony, two great-grandchildren, Ayden and Ethan, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son Robert N. Heisey, IV, three sisters, Alice Ronan, Lorraine Lammers, Edna Pell.

Visitation will be 9:30 to11:30 A.M. Saturday, December 15, 2012, at St. John Neumann Catholic Church 2900 E. Main Street, St. Charles, IL 60174. A celebration of a Funeral Mass will follow Visitation at 11:30 A.M. Burial will be Private. In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. John Neumann Catholic Church.
