OBITUARY
Joseph James Castronovo Sr., age 84 , of St. Charles, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at his home surrounded by his family.He was born November 17, 1928 in Chicago, Il.
Joseph was a graduate of the University of Illinois. Becoming a Hydraulic Engineer. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. After serving in the Army He became an entrepreneur. In his spare time he enjoyed golf and especially his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife, Virginia Castronovo of St. Charles, IL his son Tom (Cindy) of Geneva, IL, daughter Mary Lisa Vale (Thomas) of St. Charles, and his son Michael (Sharon) of Missouri City, Texas as well as his many grandchildren; Tommy Jr, Lauren, Ryan, Annabeth and Alex Castronovo and Mike, Matt, Danny and Gina Vale. Also his sister, Jennie Castronovo of Schaumburg.
He was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Jr. Also his parents, James and Ella Castronovo and a brother, Jack.
Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, December 15, 2012 at St. Patrick Crane Church, 6N491 Crane Road, St. Charles IL 60175. Interment will be private. Contributions may be made to Delnor Cancer Center, Geneva, Il.
