OBITUARY
Helen Dale Bauman, age 89 of Naperville, went to be with her Lord Sunday at Arden Courts of Geneva. She was born April 18, 1923 in Chicago, IL. Dale met her husband at the age of 14 in Harvey, IL. Their’s has been a grand love story ever since. They were married on December 21st in Chicago, IL and never stopped loving each other. Through their last days together at Arden Courts of Geneva, there was no way they could even be separated. They shared the difficulties and joys together even as their health started to fail.
Dale, like Frank, was a compassionate and creative teacher at Thornton High School in Harvey.
She is survived by her husband, Frank, of 66 years. Two daughters, Teri and her husband Rev. Bruce Betker of Kaneone, Hawaii and Patti and her husband Brett Margaron of Sanibel, Florida. Also her grandchildren, Hana St. Gean and her husband, Dan St.Gean. Dr. Frank Margaron and his wife Corrie Margaron; Matthew Margaron and his wife, Elizabeth Margaron. Dale had great grand-children that she adored: Abigail, Joel, Samuel, Alaina, Amani, Emma & Leah. Also surviving are her many church friends and spiritual children, all too many to mention but all were dear to her heart. Dale loved her family with all her heart.
This grand lady passed from this earth into eternity with Jesus, having loved the Lord and all that knew her with over whelming joy and grace.
Visitation will be Sunday, December 9th from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the service at 2:30 P.M. at Yurs Funeral Home 1771 W. State Street (Rte 38) Geneva. Burial will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, December 10th at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery Elwood, IL.
