OBITUARY

Kay Willing age 77, of St. Charles, died Tuesday, October 9th 2012 at Geneva Care Center. She was born May 26, 1935 to George and Lois Rugh in Elgin.

She attended Elgin Schools graduating from Elgin H.S. in 1953. Kay met Norman Willing in 1956 and in June of 1957 they married. She welcomed her daughter Tamra Lynn in January of 1959, sons Todd Alan in March of 1960 and Timothy Robert in December of 1961.
Kay worked for many years at McDonalds in St. Charles and retired in 1990, so she could enjoy retirement with her husband who also retired that same year from AT&T.

Kay enjoyed bowling, golf, boating, camping and spending two special weeks in July at Wildgoose Resort in Wisconsin, surrounded by her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband Norman, sons Todd of St. Charles, Tim (Jennifer) of Batavia, son-in-law Steve Moran of St. Charles, grand-children Brock Moran of Chicago, Tracy Moran of St. Charles, Tara Willing of St. Charles, Hayden Willing, Samantha Sorenson and Sarah Sorenson all of Batavia, her sister Wendy (John) Ellor, of Houston, TX, and many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Tamra Willing-Moran, sisters Carol Unruh and Sally Brachmen.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, October 15, 2012 at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 101 S. 6th Aveune, St. Charles. Visitation will be 3-7:00 P.M. Sunday the 14th, at Yurs Funeral Home 405 E. Main Street, (corner of Rt. 64 & Rt. 25) St. Charles, IL 60174. Burial will be at Prairie Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society 143 First Street, Batavia, IL 60510.
