OBITUARY
Peggy Ann Degler, age 66, of Geneva, died Saturday at her home.She was born July 18, 1946 in Mattoon IL.
Peggy received an Associates Degree from Stevens College, and a Bachelors degree in Education from the University of Missouri. Peggy had taught School for many years for Geneva Public Schools. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and was active in the Prairie Star Quilt Guild.
She is survived by her husband Tom. Two sons, Nathan Degler of Pesotum, IL. And Aaron Degler of St. Charles. Also her mother, Virginia Walker Moritz, and a brother, Dennis (Kathy) Walker of Mattoon, IL.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harlan Walker and three brothers Rex, Howard and Sam Walker.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 Tuesday, with a visitation from 10:00 Am til the time of service at Bethlehem Lutheran Church 1145 N. Fifth Ave St. Charles. Rev. Mark Larson officiating. Burial will be Wednesday, at Dodge Grove Cemetery Mattoon, Il. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8:00 P.M. Monday at the Yurs Funeral Home 1771 W. State Street (Rte 38) Geneva.
