As destiny has it, he eventually sold a car to a beautiful young customer Jeanette, who became his future sweetheart and bride. They married in 1955, raised their four children in Lombard, Illinois until moving to St. Charles in 1978.
Bill remained very active all the way until this last year when his health started failing. They also volunteer in the “Read to Rover Program”at the Elburn library. He also enjoyed several hobbies like beekeeping, wine-making, gardening, camping, fishing, camping, and hunting alongside his beloved dogs.
He left behind Jeanette, his wife of 56 years; his four children Bill (Debbie), Linda (Guido) Dekruyff, Brad (Sandy), and Debbie (Tom) Syron; his twelve grand-children Chris, Danny, Billy, Jeremy, Shelby, Andy, Tony, Jake, Johnny, Taylor, Casey and Tammy; as well as his great-granddaughters Ava and Kendall.
