OBITUARY

Billy R. Richards, age 67 , of Geneva, died Tuesday at his home. He was born February 11, 1945 in Chicago, Il.

He served in the US Air Force during the Viet Nam era.

Billy was a Chicago Police officer from June 15, 1970 to February 28, 2007 before his retirement.

He is survived by his wife Winona of 43 years. Three daughters, Wendy of Hoffman Estates, Dawn of Geneva and Kelly (Kurt) Brubaker of St. Charles. Five grandchildren, Kassy Clarke, Kody Clarke, Zac Richards, Clayton and Bo Brubaker. Also, many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday, June 29th at the Yurs Funeral Home 1771 W. State St (Rte 38) Geneva. Burial will be private. Funeral services will be held 7:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
